Dear friends and colleagues
We are excited to have received funding for a PhD training position from Moorfields Eye Charity (@EyeCharity) to undertake research into the pathological dysfunction of the blood-retinal barrier. Research and training will involve immunohistochemical analyses of healthy and diseased human and rodent retinas; gene expression analyses conducted in cultured cells, in vivo and in silico; permeability measurements in explants of rodent retinas; and studying retinal dysfunction in relevant mouse models.
More details on the programme and how to apply can be found here:
We welcome applicants of all nationalities and from a wide range of scientific backgrounds.
